Do you handle all the operator paperwork?+
Yes. Our comprehensive service includes preparing and submitting documentation and communicating with the operator. We manage the process from the application for connection conditions, through the required approvals and additional information, to documents confirming installation readiness. We agree the necessary authorisations and explain which documents or decisions need your signature.
Can I contact you before I have connection conditions?+
Yes — this is precisely when we can take over the paperwork. Provide the plot location, describe the planned building and the power supply you need. We will explain what information is required, prepare the application and handle communication with the operator. You do not need to organise the whole process yourself.
Do you only provide temporary construction power?+
No. Our services also cover permanent supplies for new buildings, supply cables, groundworks for installations and power distribution across the development. Construction power is one of the possible service scopes.
What determines the cost of a grid connection and groundworks?+
The scope required by the connection conditions, cable route length, required capacity, ground and surface types, existing utilities and necessary documentation. Operator charges must also be considered separately. Our quotation sets out the work and materials included in our price.
Can I hire just a site distribution board?+
Yes. We can agree hire alone or hire with installation and connection. Tell us the location, expected hire period and equipment to be supplied. We will confirm availability and agree a suitable scope.
Who switches on the electricity supply?+
We handle paperwork and coordination concerning installation readiness; the operator performs work on its network. We also explain which electricity supply agreements are needed. Timing depends on the operator's conditions and schedule — you discuss application progress and next steps with us.
What should I send to get a quotation?+
To start, provide the location or plot reference, a short description of the development and the planned date. Attach any operator documents or drawings you already have. Missing documents do not prevent an initial conversation — we will identify what is needed and plan the application process.
