AMPERSPACE GUIDES

Grid connection: which documents do you need first?

You do not need a complete document folder to start. We need the development's location, information about its intended use and the documents you already have. We will agree the next steps with the relevant operator.

First, we establish your development's situation

Connecting an undeveloped plot, increasing an existing building's capacity and arranging temporary construction power each start differently. It matters whether the power is needed temporarily, permanently or at both stages.

Provide the address or plot number and cadastral district, the planned building type and expected work start date. If the plot already has a connection or connection cabinet, mention this in your description.

Which information and documents should you prepare?

  • Investor and property details and information about the legal right to use the property.
  • A site layout or location sketch — the required attachment depends on the application and operator.
  • A description of electricity demand: the building's purpose, planned equipment and development stages.
  • Any previous connection conditions, agreements and correspondence, if the application is already under way.
  • Power of attorney, if we are to act on your behalf — we will agree its scope and required form.

This is a starting point for a conversation, not a universal list of mandatory attachments. We check the correct form and requirements for the specific operator and connection type.

Do not guess the required connection capacity

Start with the planned use of the property. During construction, the equipment on site determines demand; for the permanent supply, factors include heating, air conditioning, equipment and future EV chargers.

We will discuss these needs and establish the information required for the application. An early conversation allows us to consider the development's successive stages together rather than separately.

What does AmperSpace handle, and what does the operator do?

We can prepare and manage operator paperwork, coordinate the agreed applications and approvals, and carry out the specified installation work. We also agree responsibilities for design, groundworks, power supplies and completion documents.

The operator sets the connection conditions and fulfils its obligations under the connection agreement. We cannot guarantee its timescales. Our quotation separates our scope from charges and tasks handled by the operator and other parties.

Is your application already under way?

Send your application reference and the documents you have received. We will check its progress and agree what we can take over. If the development is still being planned, a description of the location and requirements is enough.

Meet grid connection service with paperwork handled for you. You can discuss your application directly with Miłosz Haber.
